January 1, 2005. The weather was beautiful so Paddy and I traveled to Philadelphia to see the Mummers Parade. We hoped to find the Broomall String Band because our Happy Days String Band Captain of the Strutters, Jean Hastick, was with Broomall.

1-5: Paddy and I were not out of our car more than 20 minutes when Broomall came strutting down Broad Street. We spotted them at at Broad and Snyder in South Philadelphia.

7-8: While the Broomall String Band put on their performance, Fox Channel 29 was video taping and the Fox anchor lady introduced the audience to Broomall.
