October 16, 2005. After enduring seven straight days of rain, the hamfest was held on the second straight day of sunshine, which was a welcome relief. It was a delight to just walk around. The Sellersville hamfest, hosted by the RF Hill Amateur Radio Club, is a typical small town hamfest but in previous years there were many boatanchors to look at, admire and purchase. This year, boatanchors were sparce ! I did meet several AM'ers which made the trip ultimately worthwhile. Not pictured here, because of our engrossing conversation, was my AM friend and heathkit collector, KN3DZY. Photo next time Jim!
