March 11, 2006. The Cherryville Repeater Association hosted it's annual hamfest at the North Hunterdon Regional High School on Rt 31 south of Clinton, NJ. Doors opened at 8 AM and the fest was located in two large seller rooms inside the school. This fest also had VE sessions at 9 AM. There was no tailgating at this fester.

16: POST SCRIPT: I left the hamfest a little earlier than the rest of the guys. On the way out, I gave Joe N3IBX my door prize stub and told him he could keep the prize if my stub won. As luck would have it, only minutes after I left, my name was called and Joe collected the door prize which was 10 DX bureau credits. Since Joe and I don't work DX we decided to send the door prize to Jim KN3DZY. Yep, that's the first time I won a door prize too.
