March 11, 2007. The Happy Days String Band was invited to participate in the Woodbridge, NJ parade and we arrived with our parade unit musicians and strutters. Ken plays Tenor saxophone and Paddy is a strutter. The parade started at the Woodbridge High School and ran south to Main Street. It was a large parade with many bands and marching units. The streets were lined with spectators from beginning to end. It wasn't until the parade was underway that we found additional units joining the parade on some of the cross streets. As many were saying: "It was a great day for the Irish".
