September 29, 2007. A most splendid Country Style Picnic was held at Bernie's house and Music Club in Howell, NJ. The weather was perfect.
While the theme of the picnic was a thank you to the band members, the Happy Days String Band Board must be given a high-five for all the work they did to put on this wonderful event.
At we entered the area there were clear parking directions and name tags.
Food: Honey Dipped Fried Chicken, Beef Short RIbs, Luau Ham/Ham steak, Spare Ribs, Baked Beans, BBQ Chicken, Corn-on-the-cob with melted butter and cole slaw.
Beverages: Regular and Light Beer, Soda and Chardonnay.
For the younger folk, they had miniature golf and horses.
Band members were invited to bring their instruments for a jam session. Was that Jean on the Saxophone ?
The finale was cake and coffee. Wow what a great picnic !!!
