January 26, 2008. Paddy and I arrived early, stopped in the Lambertville Station Restaurant to make a lunch reservation and then a took short walk around New Hope, PA stopping at Starbucks for cafe mocca.
We did like the T-shirts and door mats at the Dog Store.
We walked a block from the center of town, where the large crowd was standing, so we could take unobstructed photos.
George Washington stopped by and said hello to Paddy.
They had high school bands, Sesame Street characters, bag pipe bands and floats.
The highlight of the parade was the Greater Kensingston string band and the Uptown String String Band.
Of course, we ended the afternoon with lunch at the Lambertville Station Restaurant.
