February 18, 2008. Our favorite female vocalist, Anne Murray, performed at the Count Basie theater in Red Bank, NJ and we had to attend.
Right around the corner from the theater is an excellent restaurant so we had supper prior to the show. A mirror at our table provided the "twins" photos.
Anne sang all our favorites including: "Can I have this dance for the rest of my life" which is special to Paddy and I.
While most of the show was with full orchestra, Anne did several quartet numbers and she also sang a duet from one of her new albums.
Several of Anne's musical performers were with her for over 30 years.
At the end of the show Anne threw flowers to folks in the first row and then she walked off stage to a standing ovation that lasted for some time. It was a super show.
